"Cleopatra"

May 13, 2009.  Here are a few pictures taken today by a friend, Shelly Watling, of Cleopatra. She is still only seven months old and has the most fabulous pale blue coat and eyes to die for....the deepest copper color that I have ever seen. We will be going to her first show as a kitten in Trois Rivieres Quebec this weekend. Her litter brother, Canuck, will be competing against her so it should be fun. Here are a few shots of 'Ceopatra' at 16 weeks..out of Buller and Lillibet. I am keeping this one for breeding. She is outstanding in conformation and the sweetest purrrsonality I have ever seen in a female....loves to be picked up and cuddled. Her litter brother will be going to Australia in three months time.  Lillibet has 5 generations of blue breeding.

Hi Richard,   Being a breeder of British Shorthairs in Australia under the prefix of Bevington, I was totally blown away by [Cleopatra's] pictures – short compact body, short legs, round head, great distance between the small ears, large round eyes of deep copper, short dense and crisp coat.  Exactly what I want to breed.  And we bred cat of the year in 2002 and 2008.  I want one just like her.  Congratulations on your achievement.  As an all-breeds judge, she is fabulous.  Without handling her, and having judged throughout Australia and New Zealand, I would dare declare that she is the BEST British Shorthair cat that I have seen. ~ Nick
